Born in Taiwan and grew up in Ecuador, Léon Chungpo Liao started his career as a director of photography after he graduated from Rhode Island School of Design studying Fine Art Photography. Léon has worked as DP in commercials and music videos for over fifteen years in Taipei, Shanghai, Beijing, and all around the globe. With a diverse cultural background, Leon has a unique way of seeing the world. He specializes in using strong visual language to convey the atmosphere of the storytelling. He has a gift of communicating with people through his images. He captures the true emotions that nobody else can see. Léon is going to shoot his first feature film in 2023.
